Analyst Enton Abilekaj, invited to MCN TV, said about Mayor Veliaj's investigative file that it is very well-argued.

Among other things, the analyst also focused on the sponsorships that the Municipality of Tirana has given to the company "One". Sponsorships of 1 million euros given by the municipality at a time when the company's PR was done by the mayor's brother, Arbër Veliaj.

 

" The case against Veliaj is very well-argued. In "One", the municipality has given the mobile company one million euros in sponsorship. We have telephone companies that generally sponsor state entities because they are impossible, while here we have the municipality that gives the company that Veliaj's brother does PR for, one million euros. For what did it give it ," said Abilekaj.

 

The analyst also stopped at the villa in Qerret, which Veliaj continues to deny is his property.

Abilekaj said that Mayor Veliaj denied things that later turned out to be true by the prosecution.

 

 

" He can deny the villa and there's nothing you can do, but he went there in January and February, it turns out he was at the villa several times on weekdays, but what was he doing at his father-in-law's villa during these months when it wasn't beach time? Why did he only go to his father-in-law's villa and not to his brother's villa next door? Three villas, one of which was demolished, for a flower garden, but a villa worth 500 thousand euros was demolished today to make a flower garden and was damaged by the Kavaja water supply.

"One of the charges against Veliaj is false testimony, he has denied things that have emerged as true to the prosecution. The other charge is that Veliaj has denied the truth, has taken actions that hinder the development of the truth ," said Abilekaj./ CNA
