"The investigation deadlines for the Tirana incinerator have been exceeded by 5 years"/ Këlliçi: No arrests yet after the OLAF report

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, after the report by SPAK head Altin Dumani, stated that the investigative deadlines for the Tirana incinerator have passed, as 5 years have passed since the start of the preliminary investigation. Këlliçi said that the deadlines have been exceeded because Prime Minister Edi Rama is involved.

"The Tirana incinerator file has passed the 5th year of preliminary investigation.

Prime Minister Edi Rama signed the 8% concession and this is the reason why investigative deadlines are not being respected.

Këlliçi said that in Greece, after the publication of the OLAF report on the abuse of IPARD funds in agriculture, 37 officials have been arrested, while in Albania, none have been arrested yet.

"The Greek state arrested 37 officials after the OLAF report, the Albanian state has not arrested anyone even 2 years after the report," declared Këlliçi./ CNA
