Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha warned this evening that from tomorrow the opposition will start the opposition action in the Assembly.

Democratic MP Luan Baçi spoke about the opposition's strategy on Alba Alishan's show.

He said that the opposition will not allow its MPs to be trampled and if the majority tries to do this, the DP will not allow the plenary session to continue normally.

"We have not decided anything. When I say nothing, I mean nothing in the good sense of the word. We will thoroughly request the implementation of the Parliament's regulation, the implementation of the law and the consideration of the legal demands that the Democratic Party will make. And if these are taken into account, there will normally be a normal session, as a normal session should be.

If they are not taken into account and the rules of the law are violated with both feet, the opposition MPs are trampled on, as they have been done dozens of times, and we are unfairly penalized again by the commissions they have set up... There is no plan. The only plan is that it will not be allowed to trample the opposition MPs.

We will not allow the rules to be violated, what I say is enough to give a message to the majority, and this is from all the opposition MPs, about 50 opposition MPs, and I would even invite those MPs who are still in support of the hostage of Rama, the ex-chairman of the DP, Zopti Basha, to join the democratic deputies of the DP, the deputies who have left the list of 2021", he said.

The deputy declared that the opposition's resistance will be continuous, while he emphasized that it is not a question of leaving the Parliament.

"It will be a continuous resistance, it will be a continuous opposition, we will not allow the non-implementation of the regulation by the majority at any cost. Running away from the Parliament is out of the question at all because it was tried once and what happened happened", underlined Baçi./ CNA
