By Sali Berisha/ The narcostate in Albania, when drugs and crime turn into votes

The issue of elections in a crisis, but also outside of a crisis, has as its most fundamental question this: are we having elections or an electoral farce? Elections serve the rule of law; electoral farce has the opposite effect.

I strongly condemn Russian interference in the elections of other countries, but I am also here to denounce two other major factors that could destroy the elections.

One of them is the party-state or party-state, as was said here by observers, that in Albania the elections took place in the climate of a party-state.

The second major problem is the narco-state. A narco-state is a situation in which drugs and crime are turned into votes, and votes are then turned into crimes. 28 deputies have entered parliament supported by the most powerful drug cartels.

After that, they were given 450 permits for hotels, motels, construction and tourist resorts. Then, their mandates were used to completely block the Prosecutor's Office.

The prosecution requested the arrest and lifting of the immunity of the Deputy Prime Minister. Edi Rama; The Prime Minister, nicknamed Ramaduro the Great, blocked the prosecution's initiative and is not allowing it.

Why? Because his name is in every three lines of this file. The same thing is happening with the National Agency for Technology, the AKSHI.
