Mother Albania should open consulates in the provinces of Sandzak and Presheva

Albania has a moral, national and constitutional obligation to also care for Albanians outside the administrative state. Albanians in Serbia organized the Sandzak Province Referendum, held on 25, 26 and 27 October 1992.

Also, in addition to the Referendum of the Albanian Region in Serbia, held on March 1 and 2, 1992, this region has also experienced the armed uprising, through the Liberation Army of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac, a great sacrifice in defense of the threshold, dignity and identity, for the realization of the plebiscite right of this referendum.

Albania has not yet created any fund or regular budget code dedicated to these two regions.

I publicly appeal that it is the last moment for Albania to get seriously involved and open consulates in the Sandzak Region, in the Presheva, Medvedja and Bujanovac Regions.

This would really help because Albanians in these regions face a lack of representation and institutional support.

The opening of consulates is not just symbolic, but a state duty and a concrete step towards the protection of rights and national identity. Albanians in these two regions deserve real support, not declarations.

Albanian consulates = rights + protected identity, produce concrete actions, not just words.

When the Mother State is not close to the Albanians, this creates a dangerous institutional vacuum. The protection of individual and collective rights, as well as the cultivation of Albanian identity and dignity abroad, is the national duty of the Mother State. Strengthening Albania's diplomatic presence in these two regions is a strategic step for rights, identity and regional stability.

Albanian foreign policy must be concrete action, not just declarative. These two provinces are among the most economically underdeveloped and discriminated regions in Europe, despite having held plebiscites.
