Fushë Kruja, Anteu of crime and the Achilles heel of the police
The event of Fushë Kruja is spectacular because it starts ...

A meme has been circulating on social networks for some time.
Someone makes an announcement where they say they are looking for employees with X salary and insurance, for Y job with lunch guaranteed. The employee's epic response was what would be for lunch...
And here we come to an issue, which for our society has two parameters and, in a way, also shows the way capitalism is built and conceived in us.
I am not an economist and I can make some economic deviations, but logic requires that employers and employees are not enemies with each other.
First, while in every way we glorify development, defined as economic growth, we overlook, perhaps even intentionally, that work is its basis. Not employment as a statistic, but work as an act, activity, effort, creation, production, skill. And yet, we insist on seeing it simply as a cost, forgetting that, in fact, we are talking about human lives.
Within this framework, it is understandable that the majority of speakers consider such concepts as outdated. dignity, character, etc.
These concepts are not only related to payment, sustainability of work relations, regular and timely payments, insurance payments, but also to the fact that the employee feels that he is treated with respect because of his dignity and personality.
But, unfortunately, in some cases it does not happen like that, in an era where, especially in the field of trade, tourism, etc., the concept that "the customer is always right" prevails. And, when this concept is turned into a business strategy, the result is often embarrassing.
For the sake of those few lek, that profit, a tip from some arrogant and uneducated customer, asking the employee to humble himself can hardly ever constitute a legitimizing argument.
The employment relationship is never equal. Rather, it is a de facto power relationship, where the job seeker never has the same bargaining power as the employer who generally seeks to impose his terms.
Especially when every effort has been made to undermine the employee's ability to resist the flexibility of contracts, the arbitrariness of employers or even clients.
But this is one side. The other side of the coin is often the lack of correctness, education and work culture from the employees themselves.
Secondly, for some time, in Albania, due to depopulation, the mass departure of young people and the lack of labor force, employees demand and are even arrogant in their relations with their employers. How do we perceive this? Because the labor market needs employees. To get what they want, employees often threaten to quit.
The problem is explosive. If economic activity turns into recession, the building will quickly collapse. The high demand for workers will cause our economy to return to a depressed labor market again.
Then what should be done?
Has the time come to seriously invest in the lost dignity of employees, but also in the lost dignity of entrepreneurs, that is, of our economy?/ CNA
