Concerned about the increase in tensions between Albania and Kosovo, in Brussels they are thinking of appointing a special emissary to resolve the crisis.

The crisis has been perceived rapidly and reached its peak today with the questioning of the meeting of the CM of Albania with the Prime Minister of Kosovo .

Over the years, the list of problems between the two countries has been expanding despite 13 joint meetings between the two governments with the motion "we are one" or "united".

The problems start with Tirana's strong protectionist policies towards Rahovec grapes and Pristina's response to Shishtavec potatoes.

Albania claims that it owns Sharri's dog, while Kosovo is unhappy with the tax of 5 euros for every vehicle that passes through the nation's road.

The two countries have a common history, culture, language and aspiration for the future. Both countries have common heroes and both countries want to join the European Union.

The crisis of the last days comes as a result of what Prishtina considers undeserved pressure from Tirana to reduce tensions in the North of Kosovo related to the Serbian minority

The Prime Minister of Albania has been the public lawyer of the President of Serbia for 10 years and the prosecutor of Kosovo for 10 weeks, an analyst in Tirana familiar with the disputes between Albania and Kosovo told Reuters.

The quarrels are old and Prishtina has tried to overthrow the government of Tirana by organizing a party in the parliamentary elections - said a Western diplomat in Tirana.

Diplomatic sources in Brussels inform that two diplomats from the region are seen as the most suitable candidates who can bring peace between Albania and Kosovo.

Goran Svilanovic - former general secretary of the RCC and former foreign minister of Serbia is seen as a suitable candidate due to his good knowledge of the region and the fact that he understands a little Albanian. At this point, the strongest candidate is Ivica Dacic, who was born in Prizren, but who sings the Albanian song "Rroka mandolin".

"A Serb has more chances to reconcile the Albanians" - said a diplomat in Brussels.

If the emissaries do not achieve quick success in Brussels, they consider activating the last card as a mediator, the President of Serbia, Aleksander Vu?i?, or organizing an international conference where the two prime ministers are locked in one place (Dayton type) until the moment we sign a agreement where they commit that they will not boycott the joint meetings between them and commit to the implementation of the 170 agreements signed over the years.
