We, the deputies of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, through this statement, would like to express our sincere apologies to the public for the recent incident in which the family members of a deputy of our parliamentary group, the most progressive force in Albania, which is the locomotive of models, were involved. the best of society.

The actions carried out by this group against two citizens and the posting of the video of violence by them on social networks, are completely unacceptable and do not reflect the values ??or principles of our party. We distance ourselves from any act of violence and wish a speedy recovery to the victims of the event.

We understand and share the anger and frustration the public feels about this serious event. It is deeply regrettable that such an act took place, which is not only reprehensible, undignified, but also completely unacceptable.

The act of blind violence against two citizens who were exercising their right to report a complaint to the police should receive the deserved legal response.

We regret to note that the response of the police in addressing this situation was insufficient and we express our disappointment that justice did not act quickly as we have promised the citizens.

We demand a full, thorough and speedy investigation into this event and call on the police and prosecutors to accelerate their efforts to capture the persons who are still wanted and bring them to justice.

No one is above the law and no one escapes the force of the law.

As a governing party, we are committed to upholding the principles of justice and accountability. For us, the safety and well-being of citizens is a priority above priorities, as public order is the key word of a country that will live in peace. We request the law enforcement authorities to take all steps and take all measures to prevent future incidents like these and take immediate action whenever and wherever they occur.

Once again, we apologize to the two citizens who were subjected to this act of barbaric violence and we wish them a speedy recovery.

We will engage and work tirelessly to further strengthen public trust in our institutions. The popular vote that was confirmed in the May 14 election makes us more committed to serving everyone without distinction, both those who voted for us and those who did not vote for us.

No one can be above the law and anyone who tries to hide weapons of violence behind the banner of the Socialist Party will not be supported.

As a group of deputies, we have decided that half of our salaries this month will go to the treatment of the injured person and the rehabilitation of his family members who have suffered trauma from the images.

With the hope that these acts will not be repeated again and the law will only speak the language of truth, we assure that we will work with you and for you to further strengthen the Criminal Code.
