Ghosn's 100,000 signatures for justice, like Iranian hackers and Rama's patrons

2026-03-27 09:07:00, Opinione Hysni Gurra

Ghosn's 100,000 signatures for justice, like Iranian hackers and
Agron Shehaj's latest action to collect 100,000 signatures "in support of SPAK" raises more questions than trust.

Beyond the public packaging, it should be made clear what these firms are: collection of personal data — name, surname, address, phone number. A process that produces no real legal effect, despite claims that they are sent to the US or Brussels. It adds no weight to them.

Then the simple question arises: what are they really for?

Because in practice, this is a pure contact base. A ready-made list for political communication, mobilization or even electoral use. And when this is done under the banner of “defending justice,” the problem is not simply the method — it is the sincerity.

This is where what seems to be the crux of the problem comes in: hypocrisy. There's nothing wrong with building a base of supporters. But there's something deeply problematic when this is done by selling it as a public cause, while the real interest remains unspoken.

This becomes even more apparent when it comes from a figure who claims to be a political alternative, and criticizes others for precisely these forms of behavior that he himself engages in.

In the end, the issue is not with the firms. Nor with SPAK. The issue is with the way citizens are treated: as supporters or as sources of data, electoral mercenaries. Because the difference between the two is greater than it seems.

Put more simply and more clearly, Agron Shehaj's action is no less than that of the Iranian hacker organization, Home Land Justice, which leaked Albanian data, or that of Edi Rama's patronage supporters.

And I leave it up to the reader who has reached the end of this note to decide for themselves which of these methods best suits Gon's action./ CNA
