What can SPAK negotiate with the government?

The leadership of SPAK by Altin Dumani gave a great impetus to the fight against corruption in the country.

Although Prime Minister Edi Rama has often been harsh towards prosecutors and SPAK as an institution, in the finale he said that a courageous man gave the institution another dignity and led it to the most important institutions that have the maximum appreciation in the steps of Albania's path to Europe and are supported without hindrance by international partners such as the US and the EU, but also other allied countries of Albania.

The only concern that Altin Dumani had during his time as head of SPAK, in his speeches, he emphasized that the prosecutors of this institution had been threatened, which was not due to politics.

From that moment on, someone called Duman's action wrong, there was no reason to disclose it, someone else demanded that SPAK be even tougher.

In fact, the point is whether SPAK should negotiate with the government? In fact, a clear mind would say no and no, never, for any reason.

But there is no reason why there should not be official communication on various bilateral issues or problems.

SPAK does not have to negotiate with any party in politics. In the battle against corruption, in the war against crime, step by step it will create its strength, respect and dignity.

And politics, which was negotiating to eat with all its bones, has nowhere to go, will be forced to give support to SPAK, even for the possibility of re-nomination, or the necessary support that this Special Structure needs, which is in fact the only institution that can now call itself within the European Union.

It is the only institution that has passed this stage, while many other institutions, including political and judicial ones, have still remained in the classroom.

Therefore, SPAK must do one thing: under no circumstances negotiate with the government.

To fight and strike left and right, continuing the path to Europe that comes from the fight against corruption, because, on the contrary, negotiations with politics and power would simply and only crumble it as an institution. /CNA
