Ermal Onuz's scandals in the Republican Guard

CNA has revealed the letter in which the Guard officers addressed the Prime Minister of the country and Minister Ervin Hoxha, in which they tell them how Ermal Onuz's directors were elected without merit and without meeting any criteria to important positions in the Guard of the Republic, who, drunk, decided the "fate" of the Guard of the Republic employees.

The letter from the officers provided by CNA raises doubts regarding their appointment to head important directorates of this institution, such as the Directorate of Planning and Coordination and the Directorate for the Security of High State Personalities in the Guard of the Republic of Albania.

The questions raised by Garda employees in the letter leaked by CNA are as follows:

?1. Through what competition was a former employee of the Armed Forces elected to the most important function of operational management of the Guard (AS), whose only merit he recognizes for himself is (as he puts it), 'I have a friend Vinin' (Minister Ervin Hoxha)?

This position has always been held by an officer with several years of experience in the guard. In the case of this employee, his past must also be verified (he was investigated in the army for sexual harassment).

We assure you that any Guard employee with the rank of Chief Commissioner would do their job much better than a pumped-up Major, who declares at tables where alcohol is drunk without restraint, that he is a friend of the current minister and a comrade of the Director General, and that the day has come for them to do the Guard the way they want.

2. How can the law and the principle of hierarchy be so blatantly violated and the major rank of 'Senior Leader' be given to an employee with the military rank of 'Major' and another with the rank of 'Leader' in the guard, skipping 3 ranks?

3. How was the Guard's lawyer selected from outside, without competition, and given the rank of Deputy Commissioner?

If the vacancy were announced, many guardsmen could compete because they have a legal education.

4. How was the Director of Support Services selected from outside the Guard? Why was there no competition?

5. How was an officer released from the Armed Forces, who had problems with the law, and appointed to professional standards accepted without competition, when the law precisely defines the recruitment procedure?

At the end of this complaint, it is emphasized that the method of leading the Guard does not differ from that of 1997 and the year that brought shame to the history of the Guard, January 21, 2011.

"It was precisely the arrogance of the leaders that brought the Guard to that point, not the incompetence of the ordinary guardsmen."

These are the scandalous facts and reasons that led Ermal Onuzi to resign on the orders of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Illegal appointments, alcohol in the Guard offices, misuse of position and institution, appointment of directors, all of these seem to have led to Onuzi's resignation.

In the letter obtained by CNA , addressed to Rama and Ervin Hoxha, a scandalous detail is highlighted that the Garda is a place where alcohol is massively consumed in offices and appointments are made with glasses in front of them, starting from the General Director to the other directors of the institution.

In reality, the Guard is led by a common drunkard like LH, who is the director's friend, who, after drinking until he can't control himself, comes before the officer with wet pants and says, 'I'll make the law now.' The letter obtained by CNA also reveals another scandal, where the head of the Guard and his directors line up the officers in a bar in Shkodra and then joke around, telling each other that even while drinking, they are lining up the Guard.

Another concern of the employees presented in the letter revealed by CNA is that the careers of dozens of guardsmen are being destroyed and they are being replaced with former soldiers, friends of the director, released or on the verge of being released from the Armed Forces, mainly for failure to advance in rank.

The complaint also states that "Some employees have been removed from their positions without any reason and the position is kept vacant until they go to meet the General Director and return to their position if they 'have good behavior' (the position is kept vacant for several days)."
