The wiretaps of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj published by CNA have set the internet ablaze, after exposing the scum of clientelistic connections between the now-imprisoned ruler and the media.

After a silence of almost 24 hours, two of the protagonists, Bollino and Baze, who are mentioned in the file as recipients of orders to publish blackmail and denigrations of prosecutors and judges, have reacted today as befits courtiers: Proud and shameless, defending their crime.

First Bollino and then Mero appeared on the media paid for by Arbër Veliaj, Report TV, and attempted to put a name to what everyone saw and read about their connections with Erion Veliaj.

They did n't stop there, but continued with accusations against CNA and even SPAK prosecutors. They tried to divert and deceive the public, but as will be seen from the comments below, without success.

The commentator points out to Mero Baze the lack of coherence regarding positions in relation to SPAK on various arrest cases, where for the arrest of former President Meta, the articles were praising the Special Prosecution Office.

"You did SPAK a disservice when you brought Meta and Berisha in, what interest did Veliaj have in injuring you and Carlos ?" asks the commentator.

Below an article where Bollino asks SPAK to distance itself from the release of wiretaps, a commenter laughs uncontrollably.

No matter how much Carlo and Mero continue to write articles, the public demands transparency and in times of orchestrated disinformation in the Durrës detention center, it has chosen to get information from CNA and abandon the government media./ CNA

Erion Veliaj's two mercenaries, who are sent from the Durrës prison through the mayor's brother , Arbër the Younger, after the elder Arbër also appears in the wiretaps. The elder is Arbër Mazniku, so as not to confuse the readers.

Now that these wiretaps came out, the truth came out, that they are mercenaries paid by Erion Veliaj, that they are used for propaganda to lie, to attack prosecutors, to blackmail them, that this is what they do. For two days now, CNA has been bringing to the public the wiretaps of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, arrested on February 10 for "corruption in at least 9 cases" and "laundering the proceeds of criminal offenses", from the Durrës detention center . 

These wiretaps are part of the SPAK file, on which the third charge of "bringing unauthorized items into detention cells" was raised.

The wiretaps reveal shocking information about how Erion Veliaj ordered news and interviews on television channels paid for by Arbër Veliaj. The imprisoned mayor even went so far as to ask both the questions and the answers himself.

The publication of the wiretaps would shame any professional journalist who, for any reason, could fall prey to a politician already accused of corruption and other serious offenses, but with today's reaction, Mero and Carlo proved once again that they are Veliaj's mercenaries and not victims of any pressure.

While the wiretaps have been released, many of the media outlets paid for by Veliaj, mentioned in the wiretaps from the mayor's cell, have not published any material . The only ones who spoke out  were publishers Carlo Bollino and Mero Baze, who reacted harshly after seeing the wiretaps and realizing where they had gotten themselves into. Unprofessional reactions at all, where they attempted to justify the interviews and news published in their media outlets, at Veliaj's behest.

Mero and Bolino stated that by supporting Veliaj they had done their duty and called themselves "honest" . Baze went further with accusations against SPAK prosecutors, casting aspersions on CNA publications, where he stated that some prosecutors have favorite journalists.

The two publishers, known for their pro-Veliaj stances, apparently continue to take orders from Durrës prison by not republishing the wiretaps that have dominated television studios for two days. They tried to justify their ?advocacy? against a corrupt official who has caused the country great financial damage, proven by facts and evidence in voluminous files previously declassified by CNA.

Një gazetar apo bashkëpunëtor nuk kuptohet mirë se çfarë funksioni ka, që ka në dorë përgjimet e SPAK dhe ka bërë të ditur dhe hakerimin e SPAK. Një lëmsh mes dy ngjarjeve, SPAK duhet ta hetojë deri në fund?, tha Bollino.

?E vetmja gjë shqetësuese është pozita e SPAK dhe jo biseda në telefon. Problemi është reputacioni i SPAK dhe drejtësisë. E vetmja gjë që duhet të sqarojë SPAK është nëse duhet të botohen apo jo. Nëse SPAK-u thotë që t?i botojmë, le t?i botojmë. Nëse jo atëherë kemi shkelje të ligjit. Nëse kemi të bëjmë me një politikë të SPAK për botim. Këto gjëra nuk dëmtojnë reputacionin e atyre që flasin sepse janë bisedat e atyre që janë në burg. Nuk mund të jem paragjykyes deri në fund për SPAK. Këtë nuk e ndajmë dot as unë, as ti, as kolegët, këtë e ndan SPAK. SPAK duhet të caktojë përgjegjësinë Nuk jam ekspert i klaneve brenda SPAK, por prokurorë të ndryshëm nuk kanë qëndrime të njëjta për çështjet. Disa prokurorë kanë dobësi për disa media e portale. Duhet që kjo gjë të jetë e qartë, që të mos u referohemi më zëdhënësve të SPAK-ut. Por kjo gjë duhet të jetë serioze. U bë gjellë qensh dhe nuk mund të përtypet. SPAK duhet të ketë standarde të opinionit publik. Anarkia e drejtësisë është më e keqe se drejtësia e politizuar. Derisa të dënohen u bëhen gjyqe popullore?, u shpreh Baze.

Megjithatë ky reagim më shumë se sa i ndihmoi të justifikoheshin, i implikoi ata më shumë dhe tani SPAK ka dhe një indicie më shumë për t?i hetuar sepse nuk e mohuan që mbështesin Veliajn dhe se gjithçka ishte me porosi.
