This Wednesday, the well-known actor Ndriçim Xhepa celebrates his 69th birthday, one of the most representative names in Albanian theater and cinema, who has been present in the country's artistic life for decades with important roles and acclaimed performances.

Born in Tirana on January 22, 1957, Ndriçim Xhepa comes from a family with a prominent artistic tradition. He is the son of the artist Xhavit Xhepa and the great actress Margarita Xhepa, one of the most prominent figures of the Albanian scene.

This artistic heritage has significantly influenced his professional journey. After completing his acting studies, he joined the National Theater, where he was distinguished for his seriousness, discipline, and dedication to the performing arts.

During his career, Ndriçim Xhepa has been awarded numerous awards and recognitions for his contribution to theater and film. He is a winner of medals for actor at the V and VI Film Festivals, as well as a three-time winner of the Best Actor Cup at Film Festivals in 1987, 1989 and 2000.

He was also honored with the "Aleksandër Moisiu" Award for Best Actor at the National Theater Festival in 1995 and the Award for Best Actor at the "Apollon" Acting Festival in 2004.
