More than half a century on stage/ Cinematographic colossus, Robert Ndrenika

The great actor, Robert Ndrenika, one of the giants of the Albanian stage and cinema, celebrates his 84th birthday today.

Ndrenika is one of the prominent names who donated jewels to the Albanian stage and culture.

Robert Ndrenika was born on January 10, 1942, originally from Vuno, Himara. In 1992-1996 he was a member of the Parliament of Albania.

In 1998, Ndrenika was honored with the People's Artist of Albania award, becoming one of the few actors to receive this award.

In 2012, he was decorated with the Order of Honor of the Nation by President Bamir Topi for his contributions to Albanian cinematography.

He is noted for the variety of roles, for natural transitions from drama and tragedy to comedy and the grotesque, he is easily transformable, truthful, believable, with a prominent sense of realism, a sketcher of striking characters.

He was among the actors who had the greatest workload in theater and cinema.
