6-year-old Leila Kurti lost her life due to an accident on the outskirts of Bologna, in Italy.

Leila, together with her family, on June 14, were traveling to Albania to attend a wedding, but were involved in an accident.

The girl spent 18 days in the intensive care unit of the Maggiore hospital in Bologna, but did not manage to win the battle. Foreign media report that the minor died this Monday morning.

The family of four was headed to Marconi airport to attend the wedding where they were invited in Albania, but the car they were traveling in was hit by another car.

Leila's mother and sister were not injured, her father suffered only a few fractures, while for Leila this accident was fatal./ CNA.al
