The Court of Fier has sentenced Klodian Çalameni, the author of the murder of 8-year-old Mateo Vasiu on November 16, 2021, to life imprisonment.

Çalameni is accused of the criminal offenses "Sexual or homosexual relationship with a minor with violence" and "Murder in other qualifying circumstances against a minor".

In November 2021, 40-year-old Klodian Çalameni hit with hard objects, killing the 8-year-old. Then, the author buried the body of the minor in the yard of the apartment.

It was a security camera that filmed the moments when the 40-year-old took the little boy and brought him into his apartment. Meanwhile, the family members of the little boy had been looking for the minor for hours and had filed a police report.
