The police have put 11 people under investigation because they are suspected of using children to beg on the street.

Through an official announcement, the Blues inform that during patrolling in the city of Durrës, minors were spotted several times begging on the streets, and from the investigations it turns out that they were used by a group of 11 people for economic benefits.

11 citizens with the initials j Xh. H., AB, SB, MB, RA, AK, VA, EA, AA, SA and RO are under investigation for the charge "Mistreatment of a minor".

" Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station, during continuous patrols throughout the territory of the district, with the aim of guaranteeing order and public safety, have found that minors, even in the infant stage, were used by their relatives, for begging.

For this criminal activity, the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for further investigations, for the criminal offense "Mistreatment of minors", for citizens Xh. H., AB, SB, MB, RA, AK, VA, EA, AA, SA and RO, since in 7 cases, they were found in different areas of the district, while they were taking advantage of minors of their relatives, with ages ranging from 2 years to 13 years. "
