Explosion with explosives in a bar in Tirana

An explosion with explosives occurred overnight in the “Kinostudio” area in Tirana. According to reports, the explosive was placed outside a bar.

No injuries were reported, but only material damage. The investigation team and the police are working to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), as well as to fully document the circumstances of the incident.

Around 04:15, on “Ramazan Gaxheri” street, outside the market owned by citizen L. L., it is suspected that a quantity of suspected explosives exploded in the air conditioner motor.

The explosion caused only material damage.

The Police Services and the investigation team immediately went to the scene and continue working to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), as well as to fully document the circumstances of the incident. /CNA
