They were distributing drugs near schools/ 12 arrested in Durrës

Durrës Police have finalized the "Cleaning 3" operation, as a result of which 12 people have been arrested and another person has been declared wanted.

They are accused of distributing narcotics near schools. Among those arrested is the group's organizer.

Durrës officers found and seized cocaine, cannabis, electronic scales, combat ammunition, cold weapons and mobile phones.

Durrës / Successive operations against criminal activity in the field of narcotics continue.

 

The police operation codenamed "CLEANING 3" is being finalized, pursued with special investigation methods by the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the Durrës Prosecution Office.

 

12 citizens were arrested, including the group's organizer, and work continues to capture another citizen, a member of this group.

 

Cocaine, cannabis, electronic scales, combat ammunition, cold weapons and 16 mobile phones were seized.

 

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in close cooperation with the Durrës Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, as well as with the support of the "Eagle" Special Force and the Special Operational Force of this Directorate, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "CLEANING 3".

 

The Narcotics Investigation Section, based on police information, has followed up with special investigation methods criminal proceeding no. 880, of 2025, where as a result of investigations within the framework of police operations coded "CLEANING 1" and "CLEANING 2", several citizens have been arrested for the criminal offense of "Distribution of narcotics", in the vicinity or near schools in the city of Durrës.

 

Within the framework of this criminal proceeding, following the investigations and evidence obtained, it has been possible to discover, identify and legally document the criminal activity of other persons involved in this drug distribution network.

 

During the operation, the police services of the Durrës DVP executed the arrest warrants issued by the Durrës Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, with the security measure "Arrest in prison", for 12 citizens suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", specifically:

 

FA, 30 years old (suspected organizer). He is also charged with the following criminal offenses: “Unauthorized possession and production of explosive weapons and ammunition”, “Storage or storage of contraband goods”, “Smuggling of prohibited or restricted goods”, “Smuggling of goods for which excise duty is paid”, “Smuggling of goods with intermediate regime”, “Trading and transporting contraband goods”, “Hiding income”, “Failure to issue tax coupons”, “Failure to pay taxes and duties” and “Illegal employment”.

 

BO, 32 years old; AP, 24 years old; E. Sh., 19 years old; TD, 36 years old; FC, 31 years old; GK, 27 years old; IH, 35 years old; S. Sh., 58 years old; ID, 38 years old; and citizens MK, 29 years old, and V. Sh., 20 years old, both of whom have been charged with the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".

 

Citizen BM has also been declared wanted, with the security measure "Arrest in prison", and work continues to capture him.

 

During the operation, the following material evidence was seized: 180 doses of cocaine with a total weight of 100 grams; 620 doses of marijuana with a total weight of 1.25 kilograms; 2 electronic scales; 16 mobile phones; 3 cold weapons (knives); 1 punch amplifier and combat cartridges.

 

From the investigations and evidence obtained, it results that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, carried out the illegal activity of distributing and selling narcotics in the vicinity or near schools (high schools) of the city of Durrës.

 

The procedural materials, in charge of the above persons, will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further investigative and procedural actions.
