4 blocks of cocaine hidden in car/ 2 Albanians arrested in flagrante delicto in Italy

Two Albanians were arrested in Bologna, Italy, for possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, as well as resisting a public official.

According to reports in Italian media, police officers arrested two men, aged 37 and 34, in flagrante delicto.

The arrests followed a series of in-depth checks on two Golfs used by the suspects. During inspections of the vehicles, the Carabinieri discovered a double-bottomed compartment, built over the spare tire compartment.

Inside this hideout, officers found four blocks of cocaine, with a total gross weight of 4,335 kilograms. The substance, wrapped in black cellophane and marked "777", was intended to pack over 16,500 doses.

Subsequent toxicological analyses revealed an active ingredient of 62%, confirming the high purity of the seized drug. /CNA
