A 36-year-old man was arrested and detained by police forces after uncovering and documenting three cases of theft in the city of Vlora.

The action was carried out at the end of the police operation codenamed "Cashline",

Citizen E.Xh. stole 500 thousand lek in total from 3 businesses, in the "1 Maji" and "Lef Sallata" neighborhoods of the coastal capital.

Announcement:

The investigative structures of the Vlora Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to prevent and combat crimes against property and wealth, finalized the police operation codenamed "Cashline", as a result of which the citizen was captured and detained:

•E. Xh., 36 years old, resident of the “1 Maji” neighborhood, Vlora.

The investigative actions have resulted in this citizen being the perpetrator of 3 cases of theft in the city of Vlora, specifically:

On 17.10.2025, in the "1 Maji" neighborhood, he stole the amount of 200,000 lek from a citizen's premises;

On 14.11.2025, in the "1 Maji" neighborhood, he stole the amount of 100,000 lek from a bakery;

On 16.11.2025, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood, he stole the amount of 200,000 lek.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution Office for further action, for the criminal offense of "Theft." /CNA
