Internationally wanted for drug trafficking/ 43-year-old arrested in Fier

The operation "Operational 74" has been finalized, within the framework of which a 43-year-old man was arrested.

EZ alias RZ has been arrested, with the aim of his extradition to Italy.

The Cantalissetta Court has set the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the 43-year-old, accused of drug trafficking and organized criminal group, in September of this year.

Operations by the Special Operations Force Directorate continue to locate and capture internationally wanted citizens.   

The operation codenamed "Operational 74" is finalized.

A 43-year-old man accused of being a member of a criminal group that trafficked narcotics was captured in Fier and arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy.

The structures of the Directorate of Special Operational Force at the DPSSh, following successive operations to capture citizens declared internationally wanted, finalized the operation codenamed "Operation 74", during which the following citizen was captured in Fier and put in handcuffs:

EZ alias RZ, 43 years old, resident of Fier.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Cantalissetta, Italy, with the decision dated 01.09.2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Structured criminal group".

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
