Criminal incident prevented in Shkodra/ Father and son arrested for threatening

A criminal incident was prevented today in Shkodra. A 56-year-old man and his son were arrested after they fired into the air with firearms and a shotgun to threaten their neighbor.

According to police information, the 56-year-old's other son has also been declared wanted. It is also reported that 2 double-barreled shotguns, which they had with a permit, have been seized, while work is underway to find another firearm. 

Police announcement: 

Shkodër/Rapid police intervention prevents possible criminal events. 

They shot in the air, with firearms and a shotgun, in the village of Trush, to threaten their neighbor, the 56-year-old man and his son were caught red-handed and put in handcuffs. The 56-year-old man's other son is wanted. 

Two pairs of hunting rifles, which were licensed, were seized. Efforts are underway to find the firearm. 

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the General Patrol services, supported by the "Eagle" Special Force services, immediately after receiving the notification that in the village of Trush, some citizens had threatened their neighbor with a weapon, organized the work to capture them and clarify the circumstances of the case. 

As a result of quick action, citizens Ç. M., 56 years old, and DM, 22 years old (father and son), residents of the village of Trush, were caught red-handed and arrested. Citizen EM, 27 years old, resident of the village of Trush, was also declared wanted.      

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that citizen Ç. M. and his two sons fired firearms and double-barreled shotguns into the air near the apartment to threaten his neighbor, citizen PN, for weak motives.    

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action. /CNA
