The police operation codenamed "Ghosts" continues, conducted yesterday by the Durrës DVP Operational Force, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force at the State Police and the "RENEA" Department, to capture a citizen with high social risk, a member of a criminal group in the field of crimes against the person.

The citizen who supported citizen EA alias AA, by providing him with a rented apartment in Tirana, where the latter was hiding from the authorities, was identified by the investigations and arrested in Shijak.

In this apartment, the Police found 1 firearm, a pistol, with live ammunition.

Following the investigative and operational work carried out within the framework of the "Ghosts" operation, by the investigative structures of the Durrës Police, in coordination with the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, the services of the Durrës DVP Operational Force arrested in Shijak and handcuffed citizen D. Sh., 29 years old.

The investigations suspect that the 29-year-old secured the apartment in Tirana, rented, with the aim of hiding, from citizen EA alias AA who is accused of the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", committed for revenge, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
