A 46-year-old woman has been arrested by the police of Elbasan, after defrauding a citizen from North Macedonia through social networks and benefiting about 10,000 euros.

It is about the citizen with the initials ED, 46 years old, living in Elbasan.

She deceived a 32-year-old man from RMV through social networks, presenting her false health and personal data. From this criminal activity, it is suspected that the citizen ED benefited about 10,000 euros.

Investigations continue to identify and arrest other citizens who may have been implicated in this case.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA.al
