The anti-cannabis police operation codenamed "Ashta" is finalized. The operation, in the wake of consecutive operations, developed by the structures of DVP Shkodër and subordinate police stations, to attack the criminal activities of cultivation and trafficking of cannabis.

As a result of drone controls, an open area was discovered where 500 narcotic seedlings were planted in cubes, which were destroyed by burning.

The services of the Vau i Deja Police Station, in cooperation with the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Shkodër, as a result of drone controls, carried out as part of the coded police operation "Ashta", have found in the village of Ashtë, Shkodër , along the bank of the river Drin, an open area (public property), where about 500 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were planted in cubes.

A small part of the seedlings was seized as material evidence, while the rest was destroyed by burning.

The investigative structures of DVP Shkodër and those of the subordinate police stations continue the investigations, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this criminal activity./ CNA.al
