The police have struck a case of illegal gambling activity in Bilisht, where 20 people have been prosecuted, 2 of whom were arrested in the act.

On the basis of the information provided through the information intelligence that in the city of Bilisht, in a residence used by a citizen with the initials AB, the illegal activity of gambling, mainly poker, was carried out, the blues organized the coded operation "Last bet".

During the checks in this environment, several people were found to be playing games of chance.

Në përfundim të veprimeve për këtë rast u bë arrestimi në flagrancë i shtetasve me iniciale K.K., 29 vjeç dhe A.B., 29 vjeç, banues në Bilisht.

Gjithashtu u referuan materialet në Prokurori dhe filloi procedimi penal në gjendje të lirë për 18 shtetasit e mëposhtëm: 

E. B., 43 vjeç; K. M., 30 vjeç; Xh. N., 36 vjeç; E. G., 30 vjeç; A. Ç., 30 vjeç; A. Sh., 42 vjeç; A. S., 50 vjeç; K. N., 24 vjeç; M. K., 38 vjeç; K. Xh., 30 vjeç; M. C., 24 vjeç, banues në Bilisht; R. Ç., 39 vjeç dhe R. M., 20 vjeç, banues në fshatin Vërlen, Devoll; A. G., 32 vjeç, banues në fshatin Çipan, Devoll; E. D., 29 vjeç, banues në fshatin Dishnicë, Korçë; Zh. L., 33 vjeç, banues në fshatin Bulgarec, Korçë; J. S., 48 vjeç dhe M. R., 34 vjeç, banues në Pogradec.

As material evidence, sums of money and 5 packs of gambling cards that were used for practicing gambling activities were seized.

Meanwhile, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance Korça, for further actions./ BA - CNA.al
