350 kg of cannabis found hidden in truck in Kakavija/ Search underway for vehicle owner

A 43-year-old man has been declared wanted in connection with the 350 kilograms found in a truck in Kakavija a few days ago. Citizen NS, the owner of the vehicle where the narcotics were found, has also been declared wanted.

According to police, he is suspected of collaborating with the truck driver, who was arrested on February 27, to traffic the narcotics that were found hidden in the truck into Greece.

"Narcotics Investigation Specialists, following investigations conducted within the framework of the coded operation "Risk", declared citizen NS, 43 years old, resident of Tirana, the owner of the truck where about 350 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa were found, wanted, as he is suspected of having collaborated with citizen EQ, the driver of the truck, who was arrested on 27.02.2026, to traffic the narcotic substance that was found hidden in the truck to Greece. Work is underway to capture citizen NS," the police statement said. /CNA
