US special envoy Steve Witkoff said at a press conference that President Donald Trump strongly supports the security protocols.
He explains that these are intended to deter any further attacks on Ukraine and if there is any attack they are intended to defend against.
"And they're going to do both. They're as strong as anyone has ever seen - everyone on this stage up here has acknowledged that," Witkoff said.
He says Trump is not backing down from his commitments and that his country will be there for the Ukrainians to help them achieve final peace./CNA, translated by BBC
