Shocking video/ Police kill the 26-year-old African-American man with 96 shots in 42 seconds

The moment of the murder of the 26-year-old

A shocking video comes from the US, about violence against African Americans, and the Chicago police end up in the vortex of controversy again.

During a traffic stop, plainclothes officers killed a 26-year-old African-American, Dexter Reed, by firing 96 shots in 42 seconds.

The footage, captured by a policeman's body camera and released, shows the entire sequence of events.

Dexter Reed was pulled over for driving without a seat belt. The police opened fire after the 26-year-old, according to the official version, refused to get out of the vehicle and shot first, injuring an officer.

Videos uploaded online by Chicago police show different perspectives, including that of the officers who fired the shots. 

However, there are no clear images of Reed opening fire between the videos. A handgun was later found in the passenger seat of Reed's car./ CNA
