European leaders attend Three Seas Summit in Warsaw

Heads of state from across Europe will attend a two-day summit of the Three Seas Initiative countries in Warsaw. The 10th annual Three Seas Summit in the Polish capital is expected to focus on strengthening regional ties and energy security, according to officials.

Leaders from across Central and Eastern Europe, as well as beyond, will participate.

Topics on the agenda include transatlantic relations, energy projects and cross-border transport, Polish public radio's IAR news agency reported.

The Polish president participated in a high-profile business forum, together with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi? and US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, the Polish President's Office announced.

The Three Seas Initiative, led by Poland, aims to foster cooperation in infrastructure, energy and business among European countries located between the Baltic, Black and Adriatic seas.

The initiative brings together 13 European Union member states: Poland, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Greece, along with two associated countries, Ukraine and Moldova. /CNA
