Starmer: UK must remain calm on Iran crisis

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the country must act "with calm" in the face of growing concerns over the Iran crisis.

Speaking in parliament, Starmer stressed the importance of prudence and clarity in decision-making. "Therefore, we must act with clarity, purpose and cool-headedness," he told MPs.

The head of the British government announced that London has been working closely with the United States to pre-position military assets in the region, as part of preventive measures.

According to him, these include air defense and counter-drone systems, as well as F-35 fighter jets, with the aim of increasing readiness and defense in the event of an escalation of the situation.
