Iran's Foreign Minister: Trump bombed the negotiating table out of anger

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused US President Donald Trump of "bombarding" the negotiating table between the two countries.

In a post on the "X" platform, he says Trump treated the negotiations like a real estate transaction. He further adds that he betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him president.

"When complex nuclear negotiations are treated like a real estate transaction and when big lies obscure realities, unrealistic expectations can never be met. The result? Bombing the negotiating table out of anger. Trump betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him," his post reads.

Meanwhile, a day earlier, President Trump declared that there was no turning back and that it was too late to negotiate with Iran. Before the military operation, there were three rounds of talks between the US and Iran, with the latest round ending a few days ago in Geneva.  /CNA
