Israel prepares to resume flights at Tel Aviv's main airport

Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, closed since the start of military operations against Iran and the closure of airspace, is planning to resume civilian flights in a limited and gradual manner.

Israeli authorities have announced that airspace will be reopened and operations will then expand step by step, depending on the security situation.

According to Israeli media sources, flights of Israeli companies will be the ones to resume first.

The airport has been closed following the airspace closure last week due to the escalating conflict with Iran and a wave of missile attacks.

These measures are part of efforts to facilitate the return of travelers stranded abroad, including thousands of Israelis currently stranded. /CNA
