IAEA confirms damage to one of Iran's nuclear plants

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed that the entrance buildings of Iran's Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant have suffered some damage due to recent attacks.

However, the IAEA statement said that no additional impact on the nuclear plant itself was detected, nor were any radiological consequences expected.

"Based on the latest available satellite imagery, the IAEA can now confirm some recent damage to the entrance buildings of Iran's underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP). No radiological consequences are expected and no additional impact has been detected on the FEP itself, which was severely damaged in the June conflict ," the statement said.
