Netanyahu's house is attacked by drones

A drone was launched at the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the northern Israeli town of Caesarea on Saturday, his spokesman said.

The spokesman said that Netanyahu was not at home at the time and that there were no casualties from the attack.

Earlier, the Israeli military said a drone was launched from Lebanon and hit a building. It is not clear what building he hit. Two other drones reached Israeli territory but were shot down, the military said.

No casualties were reported, according to Israel's emergency services.

Police said explosions were heard in Caesarea, the coastal town where Netanyahu has a vacation home.

So far, the Iranian-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah, which has been exchanging fire with Israel for a year, has not claimed responsibility for the drone attack, nor has any other militant group.

Hezbollah, which controls southern Lebanon, has been declared a terrorist organization by the United States, while the European Union has blacklisted its armed wing, but not its political party.
