United States President Donald Trump has spoken about the increase in oil prices due to the war in Iran.
Trump has called the fluctuations in oil prices a “war issue.” Asked whether it is a war or an excursion, Trump replied that it is both.
"It's an excursion that will keep us out of a war. For them it's a war, for us it's been easier than we thought ," Trump said.
He further added that the US has struck 28 minelaying ships so far, referring to reports of Iranian ships attempting to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz. /CNA
