Lista Serbe said on Friday that Kosovo Serbs will not participate in the population census in Kosovo, to send a "clear message" to the Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

The population, household and housing census in Kosovo will take place from April 5 to May 17.

Lista Serbe - the largest party of Kosovo Serbs that also enjoys the support of official Belgrade - accused the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, of "many years of oppression of Serbs" in Kosovo.

"Dear citizens, bearing in mind the long-term repression of Albin Kurti's regime against our people in 'Kosovo and Metohija', with the aim of ethnically cleansing everything that is Serbian from these territories, we would like to send a clear message to Albin Kurti and those who support him that the Serbian people will not participate in the upcoming false registration in his organization, with which he wants to confirm his shameful success in expelling Serbs," Lista Serbe said on Facebook. ./ REL
