EC President visits Pristina/ Kurti meets Antonio Costa tomorrow

Kosovo's acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, will host the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, tomorrow. According to media in Kosovo, the meeting will take place at the Government building, at 11:40.

Costa's visit to Pristina comes as part of a tour of the Western Balkan countries, with the aim of reaffirming that the prospect of EU membership remains real for countries in the region that continue reforms.

Costa will then visit Belgrade for talks with President Aleksandar Vu?i?. The tour will conclude in Montenegro, where President Jakov Milatovi? has invited regional leaders to a dinner to mark the 20th anniversary of the country's independence.

On June 5, Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will participate in the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Montenegro, with the main theme "Shared Prosperity and Stability of the EU and the Western Balkans."  /CNA
