A serious incident took place in Menidid of Athens where an Albanian was killed with a bullet in the head.

According to the Greek media, a fight for weak motives during a festival caused the Albanian to pull out a gun and wound a Greek in the leg.

According to reports, everything started last Saturday when the Albanian was at a fair while the workers were collecting the stalls. There, a fight broke out between the Albanian and two Greeks.

A 35-year-old Greek (who worked in an ice cream shop) also intervened in the fight, who hit the Albanian in the face and threw him down. 

On Saturday, it was thought that the fight ended there, but in the early hours of today, the Albanian went armed to the same place, opening fire on the 35-year-old Greek and wounding him in the leg.

While leaving, the Albanian citizen collided with a passerby, knocking the gun out of his hand. The 35-year-old Greek managed to get the gun, who opened fire on the Albanian, severely injuring him in the head.

Both injured were taken to hospital. 

The 35-year-old is out of danger for his life, unlike the Albanian who is in critical condition with a bullet in his head. 

This Albanian citizen is known to the authorities for a number of serious crimes and has served a prison sentence. It is learned that he was released from prison recently./ CNA
