The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was present today at the memorial ceremony for the police officers who fell in the line of duty.

Through a post on social networks, Kurti emphasizes that on this day, two Heroes of Kosovo are especially remembered, Enver Zymeri and Afrim Bunjaku, whose professionalism and heroism has translated into determination and responsibility for all.

"The 24 Kosovo police officers, from Lazim Rexhepi in 2001 to Muhamed Lika in 2025, who dedicated their lives to serving our country and citizens and sacrificed themselves in defense of our Republic, peace and security, deserve all our respect and we must constantly remember them. We honor them by visiting where they rest eternally, we exalt them by working every day for the development of the country, the well-being of citizens and the security of the Republic.

And today, on the 14th anniversary of Enver Zymer's heroic fall, over 300 participants will hike long trails, cycle and motorcycling, and even kayak on Lake Ujman.
