"I don't feel betrayed"/ Thaçi from The Hague: They

Former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, has spoken about his arrest by the Special Court.

In an interview with a media outlet in Kosovo, Thaçi said that his only concern was that he felt abused by those who, in the name of something fictitious, separated him from his family, work, and life in Kosovo.

Thaçi also spoke about his relations with several American presidents.

"No, I do not feel betrayed or deceived. I feel abused by those who, in the name of something fictitious, unjustly separated me from my family, fired me from my job, took away the best years of my life. The West and the US did not serve the narrative of the case. I have worked with several American administrations, effectively in excellent relations. From Presidents Clinton second term 1996-20, Bush the Younger 2000-2008, Obama and Biden 2008-2016, Trump 2016-2020, at different events and times in the US I have also spoken about Kosovo with President Bush the Elder and J. Carter", - said Thaçi ./CNA
