The shooting at an adult education school in Sweden on Tuesday left 10 people dead. The gunman killed himself, while police in recent communications announced that the perpetrator had acted alone, while authorities believe that this was not a terrorist act or the pursuit of a specific ideology.

However, authorities in Sweden emphasize that investigations are ongoing and that the incident has not yet been fully resolved. Meanwhile, the media have revealed some details about the perpetrator, as a relative of his stated that he was a lonely person who previously had only one close friend and who had recently been living alone.

This relative of the perpetrator revealed that he did not like people very much, while another relative confessed that the assassin had changed his surname eight years ago and had shown mental health problems. /CNA
