Bad weather "invades" Greece/ Victims are reported, Mitsotakis reacts

Bad weather and the storm "Daniel" has engulfed several cities and areas of Greece, causing casualties.

According to the Greek media, at least 7 victims of the floods have been recorded.

The country's prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has stated that he will do whatever is necessary to compensate every citizen for properties damaged by bad weather and flooding.

"We will do whatever it takes. I will also mobilize all available European resources so that we have additional support, to cover first of all the families' compensation needs. The registration of damages, household structures and compensation for destroyed houses will begin immediately", said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the meeting he had with the mayors of the areas affected by the storm "Daniel" and the bad weather, in the Municipality of Kardita.

The Prime Minister emphasized that "I want you to know that we will do everything that is humanly possible. I understand both anger and rage. I never hid, I'm always here in difficult times. We will support you"./ CNA
