Today, the forces of the "Guardia Di Finanza" in Florence, Italy, have discovered a large marijuana plantation in Sesto.

A man of Albanian origin, who had transformed an industrial warehouse into a real drug factory, with over 700 cannabis plants and a complex greenhouse and irrigation management system, has ended up in handcuffs.

The discovery was made by soldiers of the provincial command of the financial police of Florence, in Sesto Fiorentino.

Also, it is reported about a second leader, an Italian citizen. What made the Italian Police officers suspicious was the typical smell of cannabis, coming from a warehouse in the industrial area of ??Florence. 

After the actions, surveillance activities and discovery of the territory, the Police have put under control a young man of Albanian origin, while he was in his van.

During the search of the factory, a drug manufacturing plant was discovered consisting of numerous machines used for growing, watering, lighting, humidifying, drying and packaging marijuana.

Also, a plantation consisting of 729 cannabis plants grown in special pots positioned inside three greenhouses and 53.3 kg was seized. of the same narcotic, already wrapped in cellophane and ready for sale.

Only the trading of narcotics ready for sale would bring an income of about 200 thousand euros.

The arrested Albanian citizen was transported to Sollicciano, and was made available to the Judicial Authority. / CNA
