International arrest warrant issued for famous Albanian model

The Basic Court in Gjilan, General Department, has issued an international arrest warrant for the famous Albanian model, Arbenita Ismajli.

"On the day the request was made by the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan, the Court took all necessary actions within its legal powers and in accordance with the legislation in force, issuing an arrest warrant and an international arrest warrant against the defendant Arbenita Ismajli," Sabit Shkodra, Head of the Office for Information and Media Communication at the Court of First Instance in Gjilan, told Klan Kosova.

According to the police, the model did not comply with the court's decision to meet the daughter with her biological father, Feronit Shabani, thus committing the criminal offense of "Contempt of Court".

"In mid-June of this year, the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan issued a ruling to initiate investigations against Ismail, since, according to them, there is a well-founded suspicion that she has not implemented the court's decision to meet the girl with the biological father, Feronit Shabani, thus committing the criminal offense of Contempt of Court.

Since March 19 of this year, Arbenita Shabani lsmajli has deliberately disobeyed the order or final decision of the Court...

"The state prosecutor, after evaluating the information, evidence and complete materials submitted by the police, has come to the conclusion to initiate investigations into the criminal offense of Contempt of Court," the police statement said./ CNA
