Kenya recognizes Kosovo's independence/ Kurti: I hope the cooperation will

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reacted to the recognition of Kosovo's independence by Kenya in a post on social media. Kurti expressed his gratitude to Kenyan President William Ruto and thanked President Osmani and former President Behgjet Pacolli.

Prime Minister Kurti wishes that the cooperation between Kosovo and Kenya will be fruitful and long-lasting.

"The recognition of the Republic of Kosovo by the state of Kenya makes us all happy and is very good news for the Republic.

"I thank the country's President Vjosa Osmani and former President Behgjet Pacolli for their role, along with all those who contributed to this achievement. Gratitude to the President of Kenya William Samoei Ruto, who took the historic decision and step towards bringing Kenya closer to the Republic of Kosovo and opening the way for building diplomatic relations between our two states. With the will and readiness for cooperation and close partnership in this first chapter of relations with Kenya, which we hope will be long-lasting, fruitful and productive ," Kurti writes./ CNA
