Colorado attack/Police find 16 Molotov cocktails

New details have emerged from the attack in Boulder, Colorado, when a man allegedly threw an explosive device into a crowd.

Police found 16 more Molotov cocktails in the area where the suspect was seen, according to law enforcement sources.

The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, arrived at the incident site around 1:00 p.m. local time and stayed there before throwing two incendiary devices, sources said.

Soliman was wearing a vest over his shirt and carrying a garden sprayer filled with gasoline, sources said.

Witnesses said he looked like a gardener. Soliman used the garden sprinkler as an "improvised flamethrower," apparently spraying gasoline at the marchers while holding a lighter in front of the fuel stream.

Investigators believe Soliman stopped at an area gas station before the attack to fill up his bottles and garden sprayer.

Witnesses said Soliman took off his vest and shirt because they had started to catch fire during the attack, according to police. Soliman was taken to an area hospital after his arrest for burns he suffered on his hands during the attack./ CNA
