US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States has carried out a large-scale attack against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolás Maduro.
In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said Maduro and his wife had been captured and flown out of the country after the operation, which he said was carried out in cooperation with US law enforcement.
"The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who, along with his wife, has been captured and flown out of the country.
