"He will get exactly what he wants"/ Iran's Foreign Minister reacts to Trump's statements

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reacted to US President Donald Trump's statements today that the country will be hit very hard. Araghchi said that if the US president wants escalation, that is exactly what he will get.

"This is exactly what our powerful armed forces have long been preparing for and what he will receive," the Iranian minister said.

He claimed that the US military campaign, which he refers to as Trump's "one-week misadventure," has already cost the US military $100 billion.

"The American people voted to end their involvement in costly quagmires in the Middle East. Instead, they have ended up with an administration that Netanyahu, after decades of failed attempts, finally managed to trick into fighting Israel's wars ," he said. /CNA
